tasted ok for the first few hot sips, then got a weird (artificial?) aftertaste as it cooled. Will try it iced before dumping it out…

I should point out that this bag was from a swap – it was of indeterminate age, so it may have just been old, stored in a warm place, etc.

I only had 1 bag, but I did chill the rest of my cup and found it drinkable cold. I’m also not a huge mango fan…

Ugh, I think I found a new poison.

I took a sip and made such an interesting face (oh, woe, that we did not have a camera to record it) that my boyfriend immediately grabbed the cup away from me and tried it himself. He described it as “hawaiian punch, but much, much worse.”

I can’t be so generous. To me, it tastes like bubble gum that’s been chewed for a while. Only the barest residual of the flavor remains, replaced with a stale nasty taste that leaves your mouth feeling funny. Old, nasty bubble gum. That’s what ‘Green Tea With Mango’ tastes like to me.

Side note: Y’know, for a green tea the liquor is awfully red. It’s about the color of caramel. I’m guessing that’s the hibiscus at work.

Trying to wean everyone away from soda to ice tea so this was a great choice. I did sweeten it more than my preference but when you are trying to compete with Snapple… Sweet is the word. That did the trick. They’ve already gone through the first pitcher.

This is a good, solid tea. Nice green tea base with a subtle mango flavor.
