Amazing! I do love a good Yunnan – and this certainly fits the bill… to a TEA!

Pleasantly starchy with a sweet potato taste, hints of spice and earth and wood come and go throughout the sip. It finishes with a somewhat dry astringency.

A very fine Yunnan indeed!

ETA: I need to add a huge THANK YOU to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea! I really loved this – thank you so much!!!

One of the things that I absolutely adore about this tea (aside from it’s amazing flavor) is the aroma! As it brews (and now, as the cup sits here in front of me) the scent takes on the most delightful honey-esque scent. Delightful!

I wrote a full-length review for this tea which will publish this Friday on the SororiTea Sisters blog. In the meantime, please feel free to consult my previous tasting notes about this tea.

My water is a little cooler than unusual but the leaves seem to be fluffing out and the liquid is a dark brown. This has a nice average black tea smell.

I would say this is a reasonably rich black tea and quite tasty. I wouldn’t say it completely bold but it’s good, regardless.

Randomly chose this from my home stash tonight and realized my SororiTEA Sister also had a cup of this as well! :) Ironic! LOL This is better than I remember it…I did infuse more loose leaf but for less time and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Increasing rating! I really like this! A little more malty-smooth than I remember.

Backlogging a cup! Also DH had a cup and said he really liked this one – said it was bold and he always adds sugar to his teas when he does have tea that is…

Also very nice ICED…from earlier today…
