Rooibos or “red bush” is a green shrub native to South Africa that has been used by the native Khoi Khoi tribe for a beverage and coloring agent for several hundred years. Finely chopped, rooibos infuses into a deliciously sweet caffeine free cup. Our Rooibos is a high grade, organic tisane.

It’s a Rooibos. Not much to really say about it…it’s an average Rooibos…typical in every way!
The stock picture for this tea is misleading: it’s not red, but a fresh-hay mixture of green and straw and red-russet. It produces a refreshing, unfamiliar herbal-scented brew the colour of golden honey; I like it better for not being over-cured, but that may just be the batch I’ve found. Pleasing, but not a staple.
It does indeed have floaters.
