This was one of the prettier tea balls I’ve tried, with a delicate string of several jasmine flowers. The first steeping had more body than I would expect from a white tea. On first taste, I got caramel-y notes. As the label described, there was a slight sweet taste lingering on the tip of my tongue. Not as much floral taste/smell as I was expecting from “Jasmine Lovers.” At the end of the day: tasty, kind of interesting.

This tea is fine. I got a bunch of it free a year ago, and it really is a pretty tea. Taste wise it’s just ok. However this tea does make a really good gift for family members who maybe aren’t as helplessly addicted to tea as you are. They have a good gift set that comes with a clear tea pot and a few of these balls. Mom’s and aunts love these things, you’ll look like a good thoughtful kid.

Absolutely gorgeous (both the look and the taste). Like most of the flowering teas, I have a little two-cup glass pot that I steep and then continue to top off with hot water as I drink it – I get anywhere from 5-8 cups this way, I think and the flowering teas are robust enough to stand up to being re-steeped that much. It takes this one a few minutes to unfurl, but once it does I think it’s one of the prettiest that I’ve tried. A bit of sugar brings out the honey undertones of the the jasmine in it. It’s one of my favorites so far.
