Pyramid Teabags

Black Tea by PG Tips

The eighth wonder of the world! Pyramid bags give the tea leaves room to breathe so you can get even more out of the great PG tips flavor.

PG Tips has been the best known and most popular brand of tea in the UK for over 75 years. Stronger than most Indian and African teas, PG Tips has a similar taste to English Breakfast Tea.

Always innovating and improving its products, PG Tips features pyramid-shaped tea bags, which allow more room for tea to infuse and produce a better flavor. The Freeflow material used in PG Tips tea bags is made of webbed fibers, which allow water to pass through the filter, reaching the tea quickly and decreasing the brewing time. The Freeflow Pyramid bags result in fast brewing and a superior taste.

I only drink this tea in the morning as its quite strong by my standards. I have to add sugar and soymilk as this is the only way I can drink it. PG is not an everyday tea for me but it really wakes you up in the morning.

While it’s not my favorite english breakfast tea it’s a good basic sturdy tea that always hits the spot. Drank with milk and sugar.

A very good open-your-eyes tea. A little hard to find in our corner of the Midwest.

Something old, comfortable, and familiar to wake up to. Wouldn’t you know it, the one morning I could sleep in I ended up with a wicked case of insomnia…counting on good ol’ PG to fortify me for the day ahead. Happy Thanksgiving: may you run out of fingers and toes to count your blessings on.

Running late this a.m. so I dumped this in water and frumped around the house trying to get ready … I am convinced that you can’t ruin this tea, period. Two minutes, five minutes, it’s all good … dump in a little half and half and it’ll cover any steeping error.

This is one of my favorite English tea’s. I fell in love with it while frequenting The English Tea Shoppe in San Antonio, Texas, where it is the house tea. I’ve never out grown it since. It’s best pipping out, with a slurp of milk, and a spoonful of brown sugar — the way it was demonstrated to me my first say there and how I’ve been having it ever since. Heavenly.

Best thing to wake me up in the morning.

Ah, cup of tea whilst getting ready.

Could really enjoy an Earl Gray right now though!

Second cup of tea this morning in my lovely Thermos mug on the way to work. Yum!

PG Tips is a great tea with no bitter taste. It does not compete with the taste of the food but compliments any type of food or just by itself.I take it to work every morning!

Shake the teabag at each corner, to inflate the pyramid. Pour the water as soon as it’s boiled. Give it about 30 seconds. Take the teabag out. Add some milk straight from the fridge.
