Gyokuro Premier (Jade Dew) is the finest grade of Japanese green tea. During the single annual spring harvest process, leaves are shaded to increase the natural levels of chlorophyll in the tea. The high level of chlorophyll adds to the flavor and color, and also substantially increases the natural nutritional content as well. The special care in harvesting includes removing only the three youngest leaves. Gyokuro is a rare harvest in Japan, and is cherished by tea connoisseurs all over the world.
