It’s so fruity! it’s not particularly tea-like… It actually reminds me of hot squash, but it’s delightful in it’s own way with that. It’s very berry flavoured, I mostly get the blackcurrant but the blueberry is definitely in there as well. I’m not sure if it’s a particularly natural flavour, it seems a bit strong for that, but it does not have the giveaway “artificial” flavour, if that makes any sense at all.

hmm this is too acidic for my liking. I do find the English do black current exceptionally well, but the hibiscus is overpowering the fruit. I can taste lots of blueberry and current flavour, however I think I would taste more subtitles if the hibiscus was toned down and replaced by dried apple or something else with some sweetness. Next time, I’ll have this with sweetener and hope it brings out the blueberry.

The second taster of the small Twinings taster box. Another hibiscus-backbone fruit infusion, but here the hibiscus doesn´t overpower the blackcurrant and blueberry, as this infusion is named. I´m not a big fan of blackcurrant, but here its strong flavour is reasonably balanced (with the hibiscus?). Cannot get the blueberry though. Overall a more than decent fruit infusion.

This is tart, with just the right degree of hibiscus kick. It’s not overpowering—I do taste some currant, though not as much blueberry. I’ve tried this both hot and iced, and it’s nice both ways. A really pleasant herbal option, especially for a bagged grocery store tea, and one I wouldn’t mind keeping around.
