This tea had a sweet smell to it when it was unsteeped, and some of this sweetness was found back when steeped, mixed with apple flavor. Overall, not a very remarkable tea.

The dry tea leaves look like long thin twigs, mixed with larger leaves. They smell very vegetable, mixed with peas. The brewed tea tastes refreshing, with just a hint of sweetness. Overall a very nice green tea.

From the LiquidProust group buy.
The pearls are quite large, so I was surprised to read on the package instructions to use 3-5 pearls. Nevertheless, I used the average of 4 pearls, so the steeped tea was quite strong and lasted a lot of steeps. Very nice taste, no astringency and quite sweet.

I got a sample of this tea from LiquidProust (thanks for letting me try!) and had a surprisingly amount of steeps from it some time ago. Thinking back about the taste, one flavor and word stands out: leather! I was drinking leather ;-) Not that that means it was a bad taste, just very special. I also encountered the dryness LiquidProust mentioned in his review.

I got to try this tea thanks to Liquid Proust Dark Matter tea buy, and I really enjoyed this tea. It is a very floral tea, especially in the first steeps. After that the floral notes become less prominent.

I got a sample of this from Liquid Proust, but it is not really my cup of tea. Sure, if you like cinnamon a lot, you will likely like this tea as well, but the taste combination just didn’t work for me.

Very nice black tea, without the sometimes too overwhelming astringency and taste profile of a black tea. Smooth drink with the right amount of flavor!

First time I drank a silver needle tea, and it didn’t disappoint. Very beautiful tea leave needles, with a sweet smell. Also after steeping there is definitely some sweet corn-like flavor (exactly like the package promised!). I could detect some hay as well.

A very nice, kind of sweet tea, with a flavor profile that starts with strong notes of hazelnut, and after several steeps is more like a roasted green tea . And all variations in between.

Tea that is supposed to taste like sticky rice? Count me in!
And this tea did not disappoint! A strong sticky rice flavor, that continued to be there after several steeps.
I liked it so much that I put the spent leaves in a water bottle in the fridge overnight, resulting in guess what refreshing sticky rice flavored water!

Like most people here (should really be all ;-) ), I like drinking tea.

Recently I got into loose leaf tea, and am now still “working” my way to the vast quantity of loose leaf tea out there.

On my wish list are currently a variety of unflavored teas, to see which types I like most. If the tea is really astringent, I probably wouldn’t like it.
