A gift from my sister! I’ve had this thing since the days of old! It used to be my go to steeper until I got some of the David’s mugs with the steeper basket. I still use it when all my baskets are dirty or when I want to brew a concentrated tea to pour over ice. It has taken on an amber tint and the scent of various teas that I’ve cleaned out several times with Mandala’s Smart Soak, but the plastic has started to warp into weird stress line cracks. It still works, but I’m considering replacement with a different gravity steeper because I’m concerned about the integrity of the plastic. I’m not quite there yet, but this thing has lasted quite some time and given me mostly flawless service.

My name is Dustin and I like tea.

I’m an added flavor kind of tea fan, but have had a growing appreciation for plain. I want my tea to remind me of cookies and cakes with coconut and almond slices with a hint of chocolate drizzled on top. I want dancing ponies and flying monkeys shooting off fireworks! And no hibiscus. Hibiscus is the devil.
