15847 Tasting Notes
sipdown on this one! This is the last of the tes for this morning as i need to go out and run some errands…more to come when i get back though as i have a few things on my list i want to drink up today if time allows and i’m in the mood :) I am a fan of this one…it’s creamy and fruity. I think i need to give terri an excuse to pick up a few more from this company so i can try some more and maybe make a small purchase haha
Here’s her page:

Look around & see what you’d like to try. She still has more of the Blackberry Custard. I usually look for her at the farmer’s market, where I can buy small samples. Otherwise, the package is 2 or 4 oz. Most of her flavored teas have little candies in them, which grosses me out, so I haven’t tried a lot of them. But I did enjoy this one, & I still have plenty of the black raspberry, BTW. Let me know if you want some more of that. Here’s another local company: http://www.traveling-tea.com/
They are minutes from my house, so if you see anything in their list you want to try, I can get the smaller sizes.
Josie, both of these are located here. I’m not sure where Trail Lodge is…the Fenton area I think. She has a booth at the various farmer’s markets around town. Traveling tea is literally 3 minutes from my house.
another tea from Alice and i’m glad our sentiments are of the same mind. I am not overly a fan of green oolongs, but i continue to try them to see if there are any that will change my mind. I have tried a large number of milky oolongs, with Mandala being one of my favourites.
This though? it’s different from most milky oolongs. Alice’s notes indicate that it’s flavoured so I’m going to hazard a guess that’s why. all milky oolongs i’ve had previously were unflavoured. over all this isn’t bad, but there’s a little too much in the way of “green oolong” and not enough delicious creamy milky oolong for me to really get behind it. I’ll likely have another cup of this and share the rest with one of the tea girls who prefers green teas :)
this tea is growing on me. I am quite digging the smokey notes of this, though i do prefer it with a little maple syrup. It’s not in your face or imposing but it does have a smoothness to it that i like. I’ve got to get my butt in gear and get some running around done so this is doing the trick of waking me up!
I really really liked this one, & I still have a little of it in my TOMCR box. I need to drink that!
thank you dexter for sharing this one with me. While this tea is on the sweet side, it’s also on the wimpy side. the flavours aren’t super strong, and there’s a bit of astringency to it that leaves my mouth a little dry. Not a bad tea, but there are for sure others that i’d prefer over this one most days.
Finally had this on its own instead of in milk. Yeah nope. It was much improved when I added a splash of toasted caramel liquor but not by much. Tis is for sure a milk type latte tea!
Toasted caramel liqueur sounds wicked awesome. I think I saw Cavo posting about a gingerbread Kahlua the other day too. You ladies are making me want to make a trip to the liquor store. :p
