So, I’m pretty sure this is the one I have, although mine is called “Cream Irish Breakfast tea.”
I needed some new straight black teas in my cupboard because I was down to Honey black and Thailand Black (both DT) in my cupboard and they are both really good, but very similar and I needed something else.
This one really surprised me. Like REALLY surprised me. I knew it had the word “cream” in the name, but I wasn’t expecting it to actually have creamy tones to it. DT’s cream of Earl Grey says cream in the title, but I didn’t really notice the creamy part to it at all, so in a lot of ways I was expecting the same here.
But I was wrong, and I’m so happy. It’s got a lovely malty taste to it, and it’s nice and bold and strong (4min steep here lol) But it’s got this really nice creaminess to it that’s just smoothing it all out and making it such a delight! I had this one for the first time yesterday around lunch and I was crocheting some blankets for my two boys for Christmas and I literally took a sip and stopped in my tracks and took another drink. It was a very nice surprise and I absolutely love it. I’m going to enjoy this one a lot I think!
