They don’t serve tea but you can purchase their loose leaf blends in little plastic bags. The shop is very cool looking with their glass jars and designer wood furnishings. Its nice to just browse around in as its one of the very few places in south florida to go for tea. While it is expensive, you can at least get 1 oz of tea to try for around $6.

There are not many tea shops in south florida so I am thankful for Maureen’s World of Tea. There is a great selection of fresh loose leaf teas and she will make you any blend you wish. Lovely place to spend a morning or afternoon! Delicious food as well.

Update 2 months later: Yeeaahh…. its closed now.

Bio

I began my tea journey in January of this year (with loose-leaf that is) and am now completely obsessed with all things tea.

My favorite teas tend to be flavored and non-flavored black teas. Iced or hot. I have a favorite white, green, and herbal as well. I don’t like smoky teas or strong rooibos teas.

Along with tea, I also love photography and nature and combine the two as much as possible. Forests and trees are my passion and I love learning about them in and out of school.

Location

Currently in south fl where forests and tea shops are non existent. I will be moving to the Pacific Northwest for the trees, my forest studies, and perfect tea weather!
