Cranberry Herbal Tea from President's Choice
Monk's Blend from Sawadee Tea House
89

I quite enjoy this tea, the first time I had it sort of tasted like a light black tea with some hints of fruit. (can’t quite pick out what exactly) When I asked about the tea I was informed that it is one of the favorite for Nova Scotians and that it sort of has a "grassy or floral taste to it ". To be honest I did not get that at all, I did like it enough to buy a tin of it though.

It is a great any time of the day tea, having it the second time during my getting ready for work morning routine I had a little bit of a floral taste but it was only a small hint of floral. I would reccomend this to anyone for a tea.

La La Lemon (organic) from DAVIDsTEA

The first time I drank was a couple of weeks ago and I way over steeped it. It tasted good just too strong. The second time I steeped it just right and it was delicious! I took this one to work for my lemon tea and everytime I make it at work it is too bitter. The first time was almost undrinkable, the second time slightly less bitter and the third time just alittle bitter. I think my work kettle makes the water hotter than my home kettle because I stop them at what seems to be the same time frame but my work one makes it bitter. I just keep stopping the kettle earlier and earlier until I get it just right.

Honestly I can not wait for summer to come so I can ice it, I am told it taste just like Lipton Ice Tea which I love!

Goji Pop from DAVIDsTEA

I am a big fan of this tea. It is very hassle free so that is a thumbs up for me. It is light but very flavourful at the same time!

Mother's Little Helper (organic) from DAVIDsTEA

I put this in my brand new travel mug (thanks to the girlfriend) this morning. Unfortunately the walk to work was too long of a time for the tea to steep so it was a little oversteeped.

It was still good, quite relaxing, I don’t know if it is the hot tea warming me up or it is the actual tea but I find it very relaxing.

If you do not like floral teas then this is not a tea for you, if you do then it is a must try! One of my favorites.

Lemolicious Ecuadorian Guayusa from 52teas

This is my fourth resteep and it has no less flavor! It only took another mintue as well!

I was almost done the tea when I last posted.

That being said, the third steep took a little bit long but still taste like the first steep.

It washes down the Superstore Pound Cake quite nicely.

Lemolicious Ecuadorian Guayusa from 52teas

I am quite a fan of this tea. It’s lemon flavor is not the strongest but it combined with the other flavors is great. I believe it is the Guayusa and Lemon Grass I taste the most.

I find drinking this tea makes me feel happier throughout the day (which is important considering my job) and helps me stay awake, which is nice because I tend to start to crash at around three.

I use t-sac tea filters and today I tried using it how I seen other people use them. I put the tea in the t-sac and bent it over the side of the cup (leaving the t-sac open), I usually tie the t-sac closed and this steeped the tea much quicker. I usually leave it for about 5 mins when I tie it close but this time it took about 1 min maybe even less, it was drinkable almost right away.

I steeped this a second time later in the day and it did not take much longer to steep and it was just as flavorful. I think I might be able to steep this a fourth time. Time to experiment. :P

Overall a must have!

Bear Trap from DAVIDsTEA

Yet again a very easy tea to work with. It is herbal so you boil the water and it needs to steep for quite a while to get the strong berry flavour I am looking for. I can imagin the second steep will be good as well.

It has a sour berry taste but it is sweet at the same time, a bit hard to explain. I find it quite relaxing and something great to sip on while I work. It taste just as good cold as it does hot so if you forget it about it for a while it is fine, drink it down.

Pumpkin Chai from DAVIDsTEA

This at first when it is still hot had a sort of odd taste, I almost don not like but once it cools down a little then it taste great! You can actually taste pumpkin, it sort of taste like a spicy pumpkin pie. What I like about this Autumn tea over other Autumn teas is that the amount of cinnamon in the taste is very low where other ones would be quite high. I am not a big fan of cinnamon (too over powering).

Its smell is nostalgic for me, makes me think of my Nan making pumpkin pie. When it comes to the water temp, I stop the water as soon as the little bubbles start, an easy way to tell if you do not have thermometer. The steep time is 5 mins and if you make it go any longer I am not sure what becomes strong in flavor but it ruin the tea fast. It is a little more of a fussy tea than I usually like to work with but worth it’s work.

True Blueberry from Celestial Seasonings

Another tea that needs no work, I seem to like that. This smells like it is the juice of blueberries in your mug! The taste is not that far off, it taste like blueberries juiced but a little watered down. Quite enjoyed it!

Lemon Thriller from President's Choice

What I like the most about this tea is no extra work is required. You boil water put in the tea bags and let it steep the whole time if you wish. It taste just as good cold as it does hot. I have been looking for a very lemony tea for quite some time and this is the most lemon flavored one I can find. What I can do is make a large mug and sip on it all day long while I am at work.

Night Out from DAVIDsTEA

I quite like this, although it makes me sleepy I do not get vivid dreams. I find it to be a relaxing tea.
