This tea was SPECTACULAR! I really liked it, it had a lime (reminded me of 7-up soda) twist to a quality green tea to begin with. The tea is just straight up a solid green, with exactly what it advertises a lime BANG! Which kinda caught me off guard because I wasn’t expecting that much of a bang. It wasn’t tart like I would have expected it to be, it was just right. The green tea part of it wasn’t too grassy but at times had a herby taste too it, but it was fine for me! Well I will be having this one again :) I’m off to Florida for the next week, I will be drinking plenty of tea on the go tomorrow : Anyone have any reccomendations for starbucks teas while on the go? Please let me know. I will still try to tealog every chance I get. If only steepster had an app so I could tealog from my ipod….
This was interesting, tried this as a taster when I walked into David’s tea this morning. It was pretty cool because of the orange peel and the zesty taste just immediatly makes me love it. This tea had something happening from the begining to the end. At the begining it had the zesty summery smell with what appeared to be at the time a candy cane minty aroma, when I first took the first sip… A bold chamomile taste with a little bit of orange peel. second sip.. More orange peel than chamomile… Third sip.. Peppermint- mint lozenge-like taste. What was unique as the after taste was of bold licorice! NICE! I love licorice. However if you are not a fan of licorice, (like my mom who tried this tea with me) then you might immediatly pick up on the licorice and not really like it. All in all, for me, a nice tea that was party in the front, business in the back. Like an inverse mullet.
This was great ICED! It was a combo of the most unusual combinations ever, but it just made a statement and an excellent iced tea. At times it tasted a little Chai-ish ( Maybe the cardamom). but then at others it tasted tropical and so damn liberating. I found the red pepper very strange at first, but a couple gulps later, I got used to it and the combination relationship between the fruity tenderness, the cardamom and the red pepper just started to work for me. It was strange at first I have to admit that one but it was just such a statement iced tea. On the down side, I don’t think I could imagine it hot, its just such an iced summer tea. But who knows, I’ll probably try it someday…
Something that stood out about this iced tea is that it had such a great zip, bang, zoom to it, with all it had going on. A little hard to keep track of at times, but all in all a great iced tea. I’m a fan. David’s tea you never let me down =) Ps: I saw sex and the city 2, it wasnt great….

I’ve always thought Get Lost! (from Republic of tea) was quite rude, kinda makes me wanna b!t{h slap the tea.
And then there’s always Pu Erh (especially if you pronounce it Pooh-AIR instead of Pooh- Err)- points for accurate naming and weird name:)
And the winner is…………..
AmazonV with the tea: Dragon Balls. hahah could mean anything :P Made me laugh, This was a fun contest, looking forward to more of these in the future.

As time goes on I enjoy this tea as much as I enjoy chocolate ( which is a lot ) I mean like the chocolate aroma and all around smell surrounding this particular tea is pretty outgoing and “friendly” everytime I drink it I am reminded of bitter sweet chocolate and like very closely. At first try ( see my first tasting note ) I wasn’t quite fond of it because I was expecting chocolate chocolate, but not when I drink this tea I know what to expect so it’s even better! I will bump up the rating because seriously it’s one of my faves now!
This tea was a very flowery one that had spring all over it, it was a very flamboyantly rosy tea for the type of day it was today ( cloudy and so damn blehh outside) it smelled very strange both steeped and pre steeped! However once steeped it tasted pretty good, it had a blossom type of taste with the combo with the lychee and fruitiness. I mean all around the smell and all around ambiance around the tea wasn’t so exciting ( probably because it was a depressing day outside )
Had this one along with Sushi today and I must say, Sushi and Green Tea go great together! It’s just such a great digestive! This tea was a little grassy and herby and at some points had a bit of a strong potent green tea flavor. I guess you gotta really like green tea straight up, which I do it’s a mood booster for me as well as a great digestive!
It smelled pretty good as well, I like the smell of hot green tea its so herbal-ly and relaxing aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I love tea in general and this was the perfect tea to remind me of how much I love tea!
Today I had a slushy mango bubble tea with tapioca pearls. It was delicious as I personally love bubble tea as a fruity summer drink that keeps you cool in the hot summer months. The tapioca pearls have the most interesting texture ever, some hate them but I LOVE them so much! Their great! Now heres where I am torn over such an incredible drink, what do I rate it? Because if I was rating it on a fruity drink standpoint I would say 100 because it tastes really good and it’s refreshing. but on a tea standpoint, there was none to be found ( in the one I had today or even the one’s I had in the past) so on a tea level I’d have to say 0 because I don’t think there was any in sight, and if there was a minuscule amount.
What do you think about this one? I’d love your opinions
my ratings are based upon whether or not I liked the tea. It’s a personal rating, so if I like it… I like it (regardless of the tea content). I don’t know if that helps you or not. I don’t have a calculated system — calculated sounds too much like calculations, which makes me think of math, and I don’t like math. I love tea, I don’t like math – so I keep the math out and away from the tea as much as possible (that’s why I won’t get a scale!) I go with my feelings and my emotions when it comes to ratings… maybe it’s not as precise or even as reliable to count on… but, it works for me.
I agree with LiberTEAS eloquent response. :) The company is calling it a tea, therefore you can and should rate it here. Plus that’s the beauty of writing a review — you can mention the fact that you don’t think that there’s any tea in it, but that you still love it.
Ooh, I was reading about bubble tea the other day! I wish I knew where to get some in my part of the woods, I would love to try it. I also agree with everyone else, if they call it a tea rate it!
Great way to close off a fantastic meal/dessert! It’s just a simply great digestive that takes the food down softly and smoothly with a touch of mint. The smell of this tea is just so relaxing and brings a smile to my face everytime. I guess it’s one of the classics that got me into drinking tea in the first place and revisiting it everyonce and a while with family and friends just makes it so much more enjoyable to drink. For effect: I reccomend Moroccan tea cups as it makes you feel like your really living it. like this : http://bit.ly/cnqN1w
i love starbucks teas! i usually get a “no-water soy chai latte” every day, I also enjoy the rooibos tea latte (bags), they tend to make the matcha (green tea) latte poorly don’t get it, for iced the passionfruit iced tea is delicious
Passionfruit Iced Tea…….. NOM NOM!
