I wish I had read AmazonV’s tasting note before brewing this, I might have liked it a little better. As it is, it’s just okay.

The dry tea aroma is fantastic, creamy strawberries to the max. The brewed aroma has more custard than strawberry, as does the taste. I can taste the creamy custard with some very weak strawberry in the background. I don’t dislike this tea. It has the potential to be very good if the reviews on it are any indication, if I can get the brewing time/temp right, I just did not do it well here, I don’t think. I’ve got one more mug of this, going to try without milk this time (added both milk and rock sugar in the current cup).

Also, I’ve never had Zabaglione or even custard very much so I have no idea how it is supposed to taste.

try steeping it in water a bit cooler than boiling and keep it at no more than 2.5 mins. that seems to be the sweet spot for this 2-2.5
