The Earl's Garden from DAVIDsTEA
70

I normally don’t like very strong early gray style teas. I actually like this one. On first sniff of the leaves I smell an overpowering sweet strawberry smell. David’s Tea recommends 1.5 tsp per cup and 4-6 mins to steep. When I used the recommended amount of tea and steeped for 3.5 mins, I found the brew too bitter. I infused a second time and the tea was perfect for me, with a nice but not overpowering sweetness. So for me, I would need to either put less tea per cup or brew for 3 mins only for the perfect cuppa.

I’m an Archivist who is addicted to tea. I love tea—it always improves my mood. My preference is for straight black teas though there is the occasional flavoured black tea that gets me smiling.
