3/4 tsp DavidsTea Vanilla Oolong + 3/4 tsp DavidsTea Quangzhou Milk Oolong
noordelijk was going to mix these two but didn’t like the milk oolong, so I found my little bag of the Vanilla Oolong tonight and decided to try it. Since this milk oolong reminds me of frosting, I thought it could be pretty good. And I didn’t particularly care for the Vanilla by itself.
I think maybe the ratio might need to be tweaked because all I get is milk oolong. Maybe there’s a hint of vanilla at the end. So if anything, it’s a way to make the milk oolong last a really long time. It does taste just a little bit different, but not enough to really make a difference steeped western style.
As it cools there’s a bit more vanilla but for me it’s far more tolerable than the Vanilla Oolong on its own. It tastes like oolong frosting after all.
