mmm, lucky me! my David’s order came yesterday, just in time for a big snow storm today!
ordered this one because it’s soon going to be an online exclusive, so i wont be able to just get a little bit to sample when i get around to going on my DAVIDsTEA pilgrimage! (the closest one is 2 hours away ;) )
so! the tea! (one can never have too many chocolate teas) i was interested to see how a ‘chocolate chai’ would work! it definitely does smell very chocolatey and a bit spicy.
not very much heat coming through with the chilies and peppercorns though, this tastes an awful lot like Love Tea #7, but better, just that slight tingle afterward. maybe i’ll steep it a bit longer next time to see if that brings out the spice more
it is very good though! nice, fun tea to warm up with. i know i am very appreciative on this blustery day!
