Finally. The free tea provided by my workplace is bagged, but they’ve just switched to Bigelow. This may not be a particularly great tea, but it suits my “I’m not awake yet” pre-meeting needs. It’s not too harsh, benefits well from sugar and those little half-and-half cups, and has enough caffeine to wake me up. Plus, I don’t need three teabags to get it strong enough like I did with the Stash or Tazo black teas. We do have filters on our water lines, so that makes a big difference too. It’s drinkable for what I need.

I have found a way to make this otherwise unpleasant tea absolutely delicious! Just use one bag of this, add one bag of Four O’Clock’s Chocolate Spice (no milk!), and you get something wonderful. It’s like some kind of decadent dessert. I will call this experiment a resounding sucess.

Tried this tonight and it is good. Very decent bagged tea at a very modest price. All in all a good find on the shopping spree today:)

Some mornings you don’t need an excellent tea as much as you need a warm mug to toast your frosty fingers. This worked.

Found this in my suitcase. Brought this back from vacation, but can’t remember where I got it. Steeped it w/ the ginger I used for my morning matcha. Was shocked it said to only steep it 1-2 min. Eh. Ok. Just not a black tea person.

I steep this extra long for a fuller flavor. Tastes good with milk and sugar. Usually a mid morning pick me up.

I am yet to have a “perfect” english breakfast, the concept itself calls for a uniform cuppa in my opinion. And that is exactly how I feel about this or any other English Breakfast blend I’ve tried. It’s good to sip on, it’s not worth thinking over. I tend to drink bagged teas at work where I need a nice beverage to help concentrate without needing to enjoy flavor too much. This tea delivers on all fronts. I’ve tried several of the Bigelow tea by this point and they are all rather stable. Good all around tea.

I’ll drink this if nothing else is available. But I would rather have almost any other black tea. This is just not all that great. Still, sometimes when you’re at a convention or a hotel, you take what you can get.

I’ve tried several English Breakfast teas lately and this one by Bigelow is a very pleasant tasting formula. I tend to steep all of my cups of tea for five minutes and prefer to drink them straight up. Using this method, the Bigelow English Breakfast tea has a steady enjoyable flavor, but not overbearing in any way. Only a nice light aftertaste exists when I finish the cup. The price is very reasonable. I will definitely keep this tea in the rotation of my morning lineup.

This tea makes a very enjoyable cup. I add honey and half and half. Decaf works great in the evening.

Its a weaker taste then Earl Gray and not as satisfying

A decent, robust E.B. nothing overly special but good for a wake-up in the morning.
