Mighty leaf has excellent tea but recently I’ve been frustrated by their generic loose tea packaging. The only brewing instructions are found on the back under generic categories: black, oolong, white, green, herbal. For artisan blends where the title isn’t indicative of it’s content, you have to go to the website to figure it out. I chose to brew this one for about 6 mins at 200 degrees. I bought this tea originally to unwind at night… An alternative to a glass of wine. This is light and forgiving… Not bitter even when oversteeped. Slight peppering aroma and under toning the fragrant smell of roses. Delicate but refreshing… Makes me feel a little spoiled! Plus it’s beautiful to boot.
Rose Silver Needle
White tea from China’s southern Fujian province Silver Needle is only harvested for a couple of days each spring and boasts young tender buds plucked right before opening. Also known as Bai Hao Yin Zhen, our Silver Needle white tea has exquisitely shaped buds enveloped in white down. Scented with pink rose petals, this blend captivates with its savory aroma, rich body and smooth, delicate taste.
