Immortalitea

Green Tea by Red Leaf Tea

Immortalitea tea blend is a taste sensation that anyone who has enjoyed cooking knows that there are incredible flavors to be coaxed from the leaves of rosemary and sage. Herbal teas also benefit from these old savory seasonings! Rosemary, a herb with many beneficial antioxidants such as rosemarinic acid and camphor, goes very well with strong flavors like lemon, as does sage, another healthy herb with a strong tart flavor. We have created a unique tea blend that brings together the finest green tea with rosemary and sage to create a robust herbal brew, and we’ve sweetened this blend with lemon and rose petals. Enjoy this fine mixture of vital flavors, all designed to quickly bring invigorating, healthy nutrients to every system in your body.

Green tea, rosemary, sage, safflowers, and rose petals with lemon.

Steeping instructions:

Amount of water: 6 oz

Amount of Tea: 1 Flat teaspoon

Water Temperature: 160° F

Steeping Time: 1-3 minutes.

Note: Do not use boiling water for Green and White teas as they will burn and create bitter flavors.

A good way to guess water temperature without a thermometer is to bring the water to a boil, and wait about 30 seconds (for White tea) or 60 seconds (for Green tea) before pouring over the leaves.

Fresh Herb smell underneath a lemon scent is what this smells like right out of the package!

While it’s ‘brewing’ it smells like lemon and flowers.

Post infusion smells and tastes like flowers and lemon. As it cools the lemon comes out a little bit more to taste. This is a nice juicy type green tea. Not bad at all.

My opinion hasn’t changed much since I wrote that review … I like the rose flavor of this tea with the hint of lemon. It has a very pleasant aroma that wafts from my teacup and it’s very relaxing to just sit here and inhale the fragrance.

I really enjoy this tea. It has a wonderful, restorative quality to it… after a long walk around the neighborhood taking my daughter out to trick-or-treat, this tea is my TREAT!

Ya know the let down sometimes between then you smell the dry leaves and when you smell it steeping? That definitely did not happen with this one. Absolutely intoxicating aroma, both dry and steeping, and taste. I’m no expert but it seems like the rosemary has a lot to do with it. I bought my sister a few .oz’s and she loves it too. It’s became one of my staples.

I really love this as a green tea. If you are not a “green tea person” you should try this one!
The lemon does stand out but you can taste the undertones of roses and sage, not a bad morning detox tea I think. Steep for under 60 seconds for a balanced cup. You can find this tea at chioftea.com
