Darjeeling 2nd Flush 2009 FTGFOP1 Namring Estate

Black Tea by TeaFountain

Most precious leaves from a special location within the ‘Namring Estate’ – An extremely fine Tea from one of the best Estates; harvested and fermented during the 2009 quality season (May/July). This Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe with its ‘First Choice Leaves’ is definitely for connoisseurs. Dark infusion, black grape-like taste on the palate.

The leaves of this tea brew a light coppery-green liquor. A sweet smell of steam rolls from the cup, and the brew itself has a thin light feel in the mouth. The muscatel flavor has a slight astringency to it, but not so much to make it bitter and unpleasant, while slight notes of vegetation fill out the flavor.
