Nice sized bag, mostly whole leaf, light flavor. It’s a little perfumy, but not too bad. Nice tea.
16 Tasting Notes
Tried this last night at soon as I got it home…I was super excited about the price. I used 2 bags with 12 oz. water. It’s definitely not bad, but I taste something more like perfume than flower. Maybe a bit “chemically”. I was able to get a second brew but wasn’t interested in trying for a third. So far Teavana has my favorite Jasmine Pearls. I did get my Golden Moon Sampler last night so I’m looking forward to trying theirs.
I had it iced. Very tasty. Not overwhelming with jasmine, which is the way I like it. Would be lovely as hot, too. Uncurled beautifully in bag. Very nice bagged tea, full of flavor.
A solid jasmine tea, but nothing special. Good for the price, nice to have around.
Light and refreshing. Not terribly fragrant, but not bad for the price.
Pretty tasty I must say, one of Trader Joe’s more costly teas, but not expensive by any means. Worth a try, it has a good aroma and is tasty but still light.
Love it! Soothing and everything that a Jasmine tea should be.
Also recently discontinued, not the best Jasmine I’ve had, but for the price and the convenience of very generously stuffed bags, it is hard to beat for an afternoon pick-me-up.
As others have said, this tea is a bit “meh” compared to loose-leaf varieties. Yet for a bagged tea, it’s surprisingly good. It’s also the only bagged Pearled Jasmine I’ve ever found, and is convenient to buy during weekly shopping trips, at a very good price. A nice fall-back for those times when the loose-leaf pearled jasmine has run out.
Definitely tasty but light. Both the jasmine and the green tea are a bit on the meh side in terms of flavor; neither stands out particularly. The proportions are right and the tea is enjoyable, but it’s just a bit superficial in terms of flavor. Definitely a good, enjoyable day-to-day jasmine green, if that’s your thing, and the price is great.
Side note: I find that there’s often something disagreeable about jasmine tea at this price, but think that this tea entirely enjoyable. Props to TJs.
flowery and aromatic — a very relaxing cuppa!
Full leaf tea, organic and naturally scented. In pyramid tea bags for ease of use. A mood enhancer which does not require much thought, especially in the work environment.
I prefer to remove the plastic bit that attaches the string to the bag, and I rip it off by taking off the string along with it.
This is one of my favorite teas. I drink it on the regular. Its super tasty, not too bitter or leafy. I prefer it with a little soy milk and honey. super awesome / good price from Trader Joe’s. mmmm
