Drinking matcha today after my long trip back from Phoenix. Sure wish I could have made it to Seven Cups but…

Only two sources for Monkey picked. I think teavana may be better than SpecialTeas. Light flavor. Did 4 steeps.

Trying for first time, matcha. Happened to be in Phoenix so went to Teavana. Don’t have anything to compare to. Used traditional whisk, and their matcha glass bowl. First time used too much I believe. Followed their instructions. Second mix use one chashaku serving. Bought it for its health reasons.

This oolong was my favorite till I bought #40 from Adagio. Love the flavor. It was my awakening to oolong. Nutty and woody notes.

Don’t know much about Darjeeling tea but this is pleasing to me in the morning. Got to pay attention to directions. When they say “level” tsp they mean it. Three drops of Stevia and I am good to go.

Tried some Rooibos Vanilla. from Adagio Teas. Can’t really mess up this infusion. Nice vanilla taste, doesn’t taste fake.

Saw Cofftea trying this out so I bought a sample. 1st steep 15sec. Real mild not strong like the few others i have tried. Will follow his timing for others. Great stuff

First time having a cup of #40. New to Oolong so I thought i would buy this one. Used the default from Adagio. 2 tps, First cup 15sec. The sweetness already coming through wow.

Silver Needles: Read a message on board. new steeping setting. Great results 1.1.5m 2. 2.5m 3. 170F 3.5m

I drop one in a 5oz Giawan.1-2 infusion 30sec. 3-4 1min. Seems to work for me. I think this way it isn’t over powering.

Temp is kind of vague for this tea. Steaming briskly to me mean about 185F. Little too hot for me. I use 170 at 3min. Very mellow tea and nice color. I think it is about 9 months old kind of lossing its spirit

My first log entry. 10am. I have been drinking this tea from specialteas.com for some time. It is my favorite green so far. Course I am just learning the ways of tea. I love the flavor of it. The last order though wasn’t as good. Maybe it was older than the rest. I just got a new thermometer maybe it is reading a little low. Seemed a little bitter.

I think they just got a new shipment in. I think I will purchase from somewhere else for the next dragon well tea. Time to broaden my shopping of vendors.
