15727 Tasting Notes
Another tea from this weekend – all i can recall is holy THYME! I need to have another cup of this before sending the rest to omgsrsly but this one is my least favourite so far as it’s more thyme, then juniper then black tea base. the balance seems off a little in this one.
i keep feeling like all the entries for the NEW 52 teas should be under something like that. I guess my thought is, that it’s hard to weed out the ratings for the old stuff versus the new stuff. Luckily though, this is still pretty tasty to me. It’s for sure more caramel black than pumpking cheesecake…but it was still an enjoyable cup. that being said, this was another tea from the weekend so better to wait for another review haha
I have a bunch of tasting notes to catch up, but just a couple for right now as i catch up on spending for october, cleaning up my cupboard and getting ready for the new month lol. I finished this one off this weekend – my other half played hooky from work and we went up to our friends cottage…it’s 3 hours north of toronto..and when i say cottage, i use that term loosely. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, giant kitchen, floor to ceiling glass windows….loft room, fireplace…outside sauna and hot tub…built in barbeque outside with a bar and stools…giant picnic table on the balcony – fire pit on the grass befoe the dock. so much amazing. just the two of us all weekend, doing nothing but enjoying the fire, cooking, eating, playing boardgames and watching the outside go by. saunas and hot tub drinking and relaxing…2 glorious days of wonderful. this tea was part of that weekend and will be my free tea for last quarter, IF none of the winter teas float my boat. :)

haha yeah @ alyssa… i laughed when my other half called it a cottage. me: this is nicer than every house i’ve lived in. ever.
This tea is also so very nommy. glad i have bunches left, even if it IS one of my oldest teas.

yeah and it’s a good one. at least enough for me to get a sample from a friend and then buy more for myself

goodness i love this tea. So sad i didn’t get more of it before the lots change…now i can’t be sure the new lot is as delicious as this one was!
Aww, that’s a little disappointing. But I do love Fauchon’s Peche et Thym. So.
