From Harney & Sons

This tea comes from the mountain of Nilgiris in southern India. Although this area is in the tropics, the mountains’ elevation makes for cold nights. So the tea plant grows very slowly and the flavor is concentrated. This tea is highly withered and lightly oxidized, makes for a very bright and brisk cup.

Perhaps I overstepped this, but it is quite offensive. It’s extremely sharp, sour, and dry.

I may have underleafed this one a bit, but I didn’t want to have too much caffeine today. To me, the flavor isn’t very interesting. It’s a bit astringent. I feel like I can taste a bit of maltiness. I would have liked if it were bolder. It was okay, but not for me, and definitely not the best in its category.
