LiberTEAS drank Gingerbread Matcha by Red Leaf Tea

I am having some of this Matcha at the moment … in English Toffee form! AlphaKitty added some English Toffee as an extra gift in her 12 Days of Christmas swap package. I’m finishing off the last of the tea that she sent, and decided I needed to talk about this amazing English Toffee. OH MY GOODNESS it is so good.

It is crunchy, sweet and buttery. And I love the taste that the Gingerbread Matcha contributes to this. It is ginger-y, of course, slightly spicy, and it gives a nice contrast to the sweetness of the toffee.

Really, my only complaint about this is that it is now all gone. It was so yummy! Thank you so much AlphaKitty … I think you and I should set up a permanent swap schedule. I will send you a box of tea samplers every month if you send me some yummy toffee every month. :)

Haha, I have often contemplated setting up an etsy store for selling tea related treats! There’s just so many possibilities.

I really think you should. The toffee was so yummy and tea treats are hard to find.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination.

I don’t do a whole lot of swaps anymore, however, I do occasionally sell sampler boxes here: http://liberteas.teatra.de/ I don’t always have sampler boxes available as it depends upon how much time I have as well as packaging supplies. I usually post at least one or two sampler boxes per month, though, so if you’re interested, keep an eye out or PM me and I’ll let you know when I have some posted.

Most of the teas that I record in my notes here are going to have a fairly high rating from me. This is not because I am not discerning, but because I do not usually waste my time on drinking tea I do not care for, nor will I waste my time on writing about it.
