Its been a few days since I’ve been able to post. Just so busy!

This graveyard mist is awesome. Great blend of marshmellow and spearmint. It really hits the spot. Thanks Ellyn for sending this one over to me :-)

I’ve been so busy and not able to write notes lately but I just had to write about this one.

First off, THANK-YOU Nina’s Paris for the generous samples. All the samples have been wonderful.

I don’t have a lot of experience with flavored Genmaichas but WOW this is good. I added a little extra sweeter for a sweeter treat. This has such a great toasty fragrance with caramel undertones. Definitely worth trying.

Holy perfume! Wow, this one is very strong. Has a french inspired way about it. Strong rose floral tones and a nutty almond flavor as well. This was one of the samples my co-worker brought in. Glad to try it, would’t add to my cupboard permanently though. If you like rose teas, this one is definitely a strong one.

This may be my favorite flavored black tea! Wow this is a nice cup of tea. Thank-you Ashmanra for sending over a sample, so I could finally try it!

Vanilla, Almond, and a little spice (& liquor) flavors thrown in. Absolutely delicious. After i get my samples under control, I will definitely order a tin of this.

Got to share this with friends today who don’t really drink loose tea. They looked like they were going to fall over. It was fun to introduce them to something new. Never disappointed with this tea.

I made this into one of the most delicious matcha tea lattes ever. yum. Flavored matchas are becoming my ‘go-to’ milkshake lately.

This tastes like candy and tea. What better combination? Thanks so much to ashmanra for sending over this sample! It was absolutely tasty and I look forward to purchasing this, now that I know how much I enjoy it.

Yum!! Quality tea leaves with a dead-on caramel vanilla flavor. I can see that Butiki has a great balance of using top notch tea and creating wonderful flavors. This was another sample from Stacy in my Butiki order. I’m so glad she shared this one with me because its a keeper! One of my favorite caramel teas yet.

This really hit the spot this morning! Thanks Stacy for the sample, I’ve had this on my wishlist for some time now and it did not disappoint. The orange, chocolate and marshmallow all come through perfectly. What a delicious blend! This will be on my next order for sure. What a nice cup to start my day.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure but I may have ruined my sample :-( I tried it at work and I accidentally steeped for too long. It was a little piney tasting and less pistachio that I was hoping. It wasn’t bad, just different than expected. I’ll try another sample through a swap and make it at home, so I don’t screw it up.

I’m so excited to dig into the other samples and I’ll be more careful as well. What a bummer.

This has a pleasant blend of fruit and floral. Its hard to put my finger on the flavors completely but its a delicious blend. I could see this as an iced tea being very good. It is very strong, you could easily get multiple steepings from it as well.

This tea is a wonderful watermelon tea. If you are looking for a light & summery watermelon tea, this is great iced or hot. Personally, this tea is lacking the depth of some of the other blends like cantaloupe & cream or pineapple cilantro cream. But if you want something less complex, this is a better choice.

This is a pretty standard milk oolong with flavoring. It goes from creamy to vegetal. The leaves are beautiful when they are done steeping, they are very full and not really broken. This is my first tea by Teavivre, Thanks Angel for these samples!

Overall I would recommend this as an affordable and delicious milk oolong. It is not necessarily extraordinary tea but it does have quality leaves and strong flavor. When you place a Teavivre order, its worth adding to the shopping cart!

This is a charming little cup. It has a pretty amber color when steeped and really smooth. This is one of the better straight oolongs I’ve tried. This tea has a nice finish to it, it kind of sticks around with a sweet aftertaste. Anyone looking to try a quality greenish oolong, this is for you. Thanks for sharing Azz. Ultimately, I still think my favorite are milk oolongs.

I’m probably not a good person to comment on this tea yet. This is my first Genmaicha. To be honest, I’m not real sure what is keeping me from liking this tea more. There is a smokey, marshmellowy taste coming through but that’s about it. Should I taste more green-like tea flavors? I don’t taste any graham cracker (thank goodness, last time I had a s’mores tea and it tasted like wet graham cracker and that wasn’t pleasant). I will make another cup of this tomorrow to see what I think.

Captain Assam is a pristine example of assam tea. Milk & Sugar added. Just as good as my favorite english breakfast blends. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a bold black tea. Thanks Alphakitty for the sample :-)

This blend is balanced really well. It has some blueberry, a splash of vanilla, and a bold black tea base. I think I may prefer this to the blueberry cream cheese danish from 52teas. The blueberry comes through more as it cools. Thanks Jackie T!

This blend is heavy on the cinnamon but not in a spicy way. For those who like chai teas and cinnamon this is a great tea. This seems like a mix of Glitter & Gold (DAVIDS) and Hot Cinnamon (Harney & Sons). Not bad but also not that special. It is a warm and fragrant cup. I used a little milk and it really added to this one.

This is like drinking a cookie batter pancake breakfast this morning! haha. This tea is sweet and buttery. Great for a dessert or in my case… breakfast. yum. If you are looking for a buttery dessert tea, this one is for you. Thanks Jackie T!

Not a bad rooibos. My friend has to drink green & red tea at night or he’s awake all hours. I can drink caffeine all night and still fall right to sleep. Not sure why. Anyways, he brought this over tonight for me to try and I thought it was pretty good. The vanilla is sweet and creamy. Not a tea I would drink all the time but worth trying.

What a fruity black tea! The cherry, strawberry, and raspberry really shines in this blend. I think I would enjoy this one iced more than warm. It is a strongly flavored tea, which I’m starting to admire about french teas. This was my first tea from Dammann Freres. Thanks Azzrian!

This is the ‘constant comment’ of loose tea. The flavors are so similar. The cream & sugar gave that creamsicle taste. This is a very comforting little tea and reminds me of those ‘constant comment’ nostalgic moments of my childhood.

So, I’m in love. lol. This tea is incredible. I’m just making strange little noises over here while sipping on this.

This tea is perfectly balanced: the white tea, pineapple, & cream come through seamlessly. I’m not picking up on the cilantro but it may be in there somewhere. This is a delicious tea, right up there with Cantaloupe & Cream. Best flavored white teas yet. Thanks Fiddling for this sample! I’m looking forward to placing a Butiki order.

This white tea blend from teavana is better than most of their white teas I’ve tried. The taste of the tea does come through and the additives to this blend work really well. I love the carrots & apples for sure. This tea works well steeped lightly or left to be stronger. It did not get bitter. Thanks for the swap Tamm, this was good!

Wow this is different. The tart of lemons / lime mixed with a grassy spice of green tea! Its actually quite good. I could see myself drinking this hot with sweetener for a dessert or iced in the summer for something tart and light. I’m always looking for new green teas because I haven’t explored them as widely as other varieties.

I just checked their website and this tea is pretty affordable too, which is a plus and good option for Iced Tea. Spring is coming… hopefully. haha.
