No bad, though the green tea is rather hard to taste. The ginger isn’t as overpowering as I feared it would be and the lemongrass adds a nice accent to it.

I really like the “bird’s nest” shape and it makes me feel extra special to unwrap each individual nest, like each one is it’s own little package made just for me. The liquor is a nice deep brown and the nose on it is nice too. Similar in taste to a black tea but with a deeper earthy sense, an almost root-like taste (in a good way). This seems like a good tea for classic tea drinkers, no bells and whistles…just straight tea flavor.

One of the best rose teas I have tried. Balanced and fruity, the rose flavor does not overpower the natural taste of tea.

The orange scent and flavor are quite mild, which suits me just fine, as the oolong is smooth and rich on its own merits. Shades of roasted chicory and chestnut. Slight astringency creates a clean finish.

Golden Monkey isn’t quite as robust as my typical morning teas, but it makes up for it with its caramel character and mildly sweet finish. It also extends into well into the afternoon, meaning that I often end up drinking it until it’s time for dinner. I can usually get three steeps out of the leaves, though I use a little more than recommended on the package. Delicious.

Ran out of my usual morning tea (Rishi Golden Yunnan) so I’m giving this a try. So far so good! I accidentally over-steeped the first time, but it still held up okay. More detailed tasting notes to come.

A little more heavily roasted than the other Da Hong Pao’s I’ve tried, but very good. I’ve gotten the best results steeping this for shorter times (2-2.5 min) at 185 for 3-4 infusions.
Steeping longer makes for a much darker and richer brew, but I find it a little overpowering.

I am a kukicha junkie of late. Vibrant green (packed w good stuff), strong grassy vegetal notes I look for in this tea, well balance, and high quality.

Gentle, light, delicate. Steeped for 7 min.

It is believed that chamomile is useful in treating anxiety and I feel tonight I can certainly benefit from that. Chamomile and lavender is a great combo – it smells lovely and I enjoy the taste as well!
