From Tealux

The wonderful tea plantations of Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, are synonymous with production of the highest quality teas, and Ceylon tea is revered across the world for its wonderfully robust and unmistakably aromatic flavor.

This Ceylon tea is certified organic, and is Orange Pekoe or ‘OP’ grade, referring to the highest levels of the leaf grading system. Rich, robust and strong, our Orange Pekoe Ceylon Organic tea is unmatched in terms of quality and strength, and we think you will agree, truly a drink to be savoured.

The unmistakable Ceylon aroma is rich with wonderful honeyed chocolate notes, offering a mellow sweetness that is the perfect balance to a crisp, clean aroma slightly reminiscent of citrus.

Orange Pekoe Ceylon Organic is the perfect choice for afternoon tea with friends, or to enjoy at any other time of the day. Steep in hot water for a few minutes before serving hot and fresh.

When it’s just a cuppa I want, it’s this tea I go to. Beautifully astringent, warming, with a natural sweetness, and strength. I can (and do) drink this all day. This tea goes with just about everything. I find the it cleanses the palate rather well.

Great for an early morning cup, or a quick pick-me-up in the late afternoon. How long you brew it really depends on your tastes.

A great tea for blending! I have made the most wonderful chai with it.
