Meghann sent this to me and I want to THANK HER VERY MUCH!!!!!

This is the first time I have ever tried anything from World Market! Plain and Simple it’s bagged Jasmine Pearls! It’s a fine cuppa! A bit on the lighter side of things but still nice, relaxing and more of a sweet-floral than overly floral Jasmine. It doesn’t leave a bad aftertaste like some Jasmine’s do.

This is nice but not overly memorable! I enjoyed it tho!

This is my first experience with jasmine pearls. With that being said, I didn’t want my first experience of pearls being stuck in a bag. I got out the scissors, snipped open the bag and poured the little pearls into my perfect tea maker. I poured six ounces of 180 temp water over them and watched them for a minute. Indrank that infusion while awaiting a second steep for 1.5 minutes. After the second infusion the pearls were fully opened and a darker brew was released. I enjoyed the second steep more as it was more floral. The first one was much too light. I think this is a tea I may grab to relax, but wouldn’t drink regularly. I am curious to try better pearls.

Good Morning everyone:) OK this is my first time making this so I am going the the directions exactly. I have never had the pearls and i wanted to try them before i go crazy ordering stuff online. The pearls were small i don’t know why i was expecting them to be a little bigger.20 pearls in the bag. I boiled the water to a boil and let cool to 180 deg. and let steep for 2mins. wow from the first time I open the package the air is fills with jasmine it’s smell so floral but so wonderful. after steeping. I see that the pearls have expanded to fill the room of the bag. I allow it to cool down to a temp. that I can drink it XD I can’t wait to take that first sip. And the first sip is wonderful! but i don’t have much to compare it too. I did notice i keep putting the glass closer to my nose so i can sniff the aroma.
side notes: no sugar or milk needed
I would like to try more pearls (just for kicks)
I will be finding a loose leaf version for me to try next(local)
I agree with steep time and temp was good.

Thanks, Meghann M, for sending me some of this to try!

I cut open two bags and put them into my Breville. First infusion is a very light-colored brew. The jasmine is mild, and the green tea is delicious. I really like this! Curious to see how further infusions will taste.

Tried brewing it at 2 minutes rather than 3…I think I like it much better! Brews up very light, and not very strong on the floral (which is good, since I actually hadn’t intended on grabbing this tea out of my drawer).

Second infusion of these leaves. I like it much better than the first! It’s much darker, and the tea is much richer. I can taste more of the green tea, and then the sip finishes with a light jasmine taste. Very nice!

Had this this morning while the kids were getting ready for school. Jasmine green tea is always calming and soothing for me. Good way to start a Monday morning. As always, yum. This one lasted through three steepings! And I always love watching the pearls unfurling. Super light color, always sweet, and a heavenly aroma.

One box I got tasted okay (not super high quality but drinkable) and the next was soooo smokey. It was like someone had been chain-smoking while rolling the pearls. Do not recommend.
