15082 Tasting Notes
busy weekend is busy. Friday night out with friends, home at 2am. Up early saturday to spend the entire day walking in the sun, running errands with my other half…to get up early sunday to drop tea and lego off with a friend and then drive to buffalo to pick up a bike fork and a friend lol Not a lot of tea drinking but lots of getting things done!
In no particular order, accompanying this adventure was:
Cherry Snowcone – David’s tea
Laoshan Black – Verdant
Cacao – Herbal Infusions
Ming Hong – yezi tea
Grasshopper Cheesecake – Butiki
Yuchi Wild Mountain – Taiwan tea crafts
Final Count: 97 wheee!
Apparently every time i’ve had this one, i haven’t logged it OR steepster ate my notes. Which is silly. Had a cup of this today and the rest is off to another home that clearly likes it more than me mwahahahahah Just don’t love this one as much as i loved rocket fuel
Another tea that i have a bunch of, but haven’t had many opportunities…wait haven’t TAKEN many opportunities to drink. This was one of my teas from today – a woody sort of puerh with a little sweetness to it that made me forget for a moment that i was drinking a puerh. Later steeps take on much more of a black tea sort of vibe.
I’ve been drinking this and another puerh today – lazy style in my finums with short steep times while i map out my paris walking/shoppping/exploring. I am thoroughly enjoying this one, though other mandala’s probably take precedent over this one for me. it’s sort of earthy, leathery, sweet and smooth with a buttery element there in later steeps. I feel like this might work well as an intro puerh….slight nuances, without anything here that would scare someone off :)
