67 Tasting Notes
So this came in the Mighty Leaf Variety pack that I purchased the other day because I am on this wild journey exploring the world of tea and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised right down to the quality of the tea bag to the flavor of the bergamot. Now I am new to the world of tea and definitely need to try more Earl Grey tea to compare them all against but I do believe this quite the nice tea.
Flavors: Bergamot
The smell is amazing and you get this wonderful chocolaty orange smell that you think to yourself that you just scored the jackpot here but wait for it… the tea just doesn’t deliver.
I really wanted to like this one, I really did and I have had it multiple times now and the best way that I enjoy it is as a latte.
Flavors: Coffee, Mocha, Orange
What a wonderful black tea. This is becoming a fast favourite of mine, I enjoy black with one teaspoon of sugar and then I sit down with my daughters and just enjoy. The taste is quite soft and romantic really. However, only one tea bag will make a great cup, you really can’t use the tea bag more than once.
Flavors: Floral
The smell is there you really get your hopes up and I actually liked this for awhile until I began tasting other chai teas and this one really doesn’t compare. It also tastes really mild and I find you don’t taste the flavor until you added milk and sugar where with a really good chai you don’t need too.
Flavors: Cardamom, Nutmeg, Vanilla
So I bought a tin of this because well I love coffee and thought that I would naturally like this… not so much. I don’t dislike this but there is so many competing flavors that the taste just feels off. Also not a fan of the oil slick that is part of this tea. I don’t think I will be repurchasing this one.
Flavors: Artificial, Burnt, Coffee
Oh Lord this tea is amazing as a latte! Its the only way to drink it, I made it with Vanilla Almond milk and it was fantastic. A great sweet treat that I found myself saying, “I think I’ll make another!”
Flavors: Cream, Raspberry, Sugar, Sweet, Vanilla, White Chocolate
I tried this in the Valentine’s Day Sample package it smelled like french toast however when I brewed I was a little disappointed really it really smelled wonderful but kind of tasted bland unmemorable. Its not a bad tea but I don’t think I would buy it, I am glad that it was just a sample!
Flavors: Sugar, Sweet
While this has a nice day one could not drink it every day. This is more for when you think you are getting a cold or you are not feeling good then its the perfect tea. I have 50 grams of this and I have feeling this will last me a very long time.
Flavors: Black Pepper, Ginger, Peppercorn, Spicy
