419 Tasting Notes

This is one of the extra samples in my review box. I so like how it smells, very natural. The flavour is nicely green and floral without being over powering.

This was part of my sampler prize. I don’t usually make white tea, and might have steeped this too warm. It smells nice though, a bit floral and sweet.

Not so sure of the flavour at the moment, but it does seem to go with my orange cake.

I keep wanting to call this Black Pearls. It has a nice chocolate scent (that could also be my kitchen, as I just made cakes). The flavour is a bit towards the mildly sweet hot cocoa side. Not overly strong, just delicious.

I got this as part of my Giveaway Sampler. The golden tipped leaves are rather pretty. And I get a lovely aroma of sweet potatoes both from the dry leaves and the brew. There seems to be more honey in the flavour, but I do get the potato as well. It seems to have hints of nuts too. Thanks Teavivre for being so good at picking my teas.

From my first actual Teavivre order. I like osmanthus, but I’ve not had it as an oolong yet. The scent is nicely floral, a bit of honeysuckle perhaps. As for flavour, creamy, and sweet. I do taste the osmanthus, as well as the grassy oolong.

I’ve decided this an oolong weekend. This one smells floral, and a little green. It has a smooth, sweet flavour, more towards the floral side.

This smells pretty nice, it’s sweet and mildly fruity. I get honey and some grape in the flavour, and some light floral notes. (The leaves are really pretty too.)

White Tiger Oolong… It smells so good. I get a nice scent of fresh peaches. The apricot comes out more in the flavour. Overall, a good summer blend.

I got the last time I was able to visit a store location. It smells nicely green, and natural. In a way that makes me want salad from the natural foods store. There is a light, and creamy vegetal flavour. For something I got on a whim, it turned out well.
