drank Peach Oolong by Rishi Tea
4833 tasting notes

Enjoying a cup of this right now.

I have to admit that I’d enjoy it a lot more if there wasn’t hibiscus in this. I think that the hibiscus sort of ruins the natural creamy texture of the Oolong … which is already thick … the hibiscus makes this too thick … I can’t help but think that it would be so much better without the hibiscus.

It’s good, but it could be great.

The peach tones are nice, and accentuate the natural fruit notes of the Oolong. The berry adds a touch of tartness – not sure that it needs that, but I’m OK with that … and this isn’t overly tart even though the hibiscus is there. And I like the faint note of licorice in this … it is so faint … but it is lovely.

Overall, it’s alright … but it could be much better.

I am obsessed with tea!

I am a co-founder of the SororiTEA Sisters:

I no longer write for the SororiTea Sisters but I am still the admin for the blog.

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
