It was “Meh” it tasted like a mesh of flavors none of which I could identify individually.

Another one from the quiet life!!!

This tea contains everything but the kitchen sink, yet it doesn’t taste like much more than cinnamon and rooibos! How is that possible!? It was quite enjoyable with a touch of honey, but I just don’t understand where the flavor of the apple pieces, peach pieces, pear pieces, rose buds, mallow flower blossoms, rhubarb bits, red currants, almond slices, and vanilla went to! I used an extra teaspoon and a half of tisane – I was forewarned – but it just made it extra cinnamony. I will certainly enjoy the rest of my sample, but it’s not different enough from plain rooibos where I would seek it out.

I dont dislike this tea as much as other people on steepster seem to!

Where’s the flavor! While the aroma of this tea smells pretty awesome I was sorely disappointed in the lack of flavor. The tension between the vanilla and cinnamon (which always has the potentinal to ruin a good rooibos) was perfect but just needed to be turned up a notch. Any ideas on how to add to the flavor? More tea? What’s your steep time on this?

Don’t think I will buy this one again anytime soon. Just not my “cup of tea”. HAHA

This is the last of it. I am actually a fan of rooibos tea just not som much this one. Just not for me, too floral.

This tea might actually be growing on me. I’m almost near the bottom of the tin so that makes sense. I am actually starting to appreciate the floral qualities. It has a sweet floral aroma that I found offputting at first but kinda enjoy now. Probably still not a regular tea for me since I prefer stonger taste profiles. But, not as bad as I originally thought.

Still not one of my favorites. I could do without the floral notes in this one.

A simple, refreshing, comforting tisane. They say rooibos is good for allergies. Not sure how much of that is hype and how much is prove, but it’s worth a shot. More cinnamony than fruity or floral; I can barely taste the roses, actually. Still lovely, though.

This tea is “OK” by my standards which I don’t think are that high. Like a few here have said the tea is mainly the flavor of cinnamon roobios with some floral notes here and there. It makes a decent cup for a cold rainy day or something….but I wont keep it stocked.

This tea is definitely better mixed with others but it’s still pretty good by itself. I am pretty miffed though that the Teavana associate who last sold this to me lied about it being discontinued in order to get me to purchase much more of this tea than I normally would have.

I do agree with other members the rooibos flavor does overwhelm some of the other ingredients. The flavors of peach, pear, and apples are bit muddled.

A friend made some of this for me- no sweetner, second infusion. Pretty tasty blend- I like the spice from the cinnamon and the sweet finish from the fruits. Still, like other reviewers, I couldn’t really pick out the tastes of the individual fruits.

Just put a tablespoon of honey in a 16 ounce brew and your kids will eat it up. I like it myself at night…a pleasing mix of rooibos, fruits, and flowers in the cup. Just smell the leaves afterwards…that is exactly what you taste in the cup.

I really enjoy this tea. The first time I brewed a cup, it was very bland-tasting, even though it had a really nice fruity aftertaste. The next time I brewed it, I used more tea, and it turned out very tasty! Not sure I would purchase again, but I do enjoy it. :)

I totally agree with the other Angie’s review on this one. I enjoyed it even those some tastes felt a little like a medicine, other tastes felt like they were sweet and woodsy. Will drink again until I finish the tin but won’t buy more.

I mixed this (Rooibos Sweet Amore) with my morning mate both by Teavana. My morning mate is a staple around my house and for the past couple days I seem to be suffering with allergies (along with the rest of my household) so I thought to myself I better try to add some Rooibos into my tea so that I can see if I get any signs of allergy relief as rooibos is said to help fight allergies.

It’s actually not a bad combination of flavors but to be honest it’s not extraordinary either oh well (shrugs) at least I’ll get my rooibos in. It tastes like rooibos mixed with my morning mate. Sorry for the lack of taste description I’m stuffy and grouchy this a.m..

Not too impressed. Lots of stale, dull woodsy notes, almost an ashy flavor. Maybe I steeped it too long, but the syrupy nature of the tea really amplified these unpleasant flavors. Tried to add some honey, but it didn’t improve, so I just drank it down like a very bitter medicine.

Sorry, Teavana.

Have to use sugar to get the most of it.

Sweet, woodsy aroma in dry leaves, but tisane flavor has strong cinnamon top note—like cinnamon red hots. Brewed as recommended by Teavana: 1.5 tsp/8 oz. Overall, flavor is not as strong or varied given the additions of almond, peach, pear, and apple in the blend. A bit of sugar may help—

Take 2: Infused with some rock sugar. Cinnamon aroma with apple notes and maybe a bit of pear sneaking through. Still retains the tartness of the rooibos, but the fruit flavor is more pronounced. This would be great iced for summer, thus the improved rating

Love the aroma. Not a big fan of the taste. Wish I knew why.

After smelling lots of teas, this teas aroma stood out. After bringing it home I found that it was probably because the scent is fairly pervasive and almost medicine-like. The tea was pretty good, but not my favorite. I brewed this loose-leaf tea in very hot water for a couple minutes and mixed with a small amount of sugar. This tea would not go particularly well with milk
