Thought it was time past to write a new bio:) It has been almost a year since I’ve joined this site, and so while I would not call myself an expert on tea, I think I’ve surpassed the ‘beginner’ stage. I am 37, biologically female, (but don’t really identify as female much anymore.) Queer, Pagan, Bookworm, writer. And of course tea drinker.
Current Favorite Teas: Mojito Black & Red, Peachy Keen White, Strawberry Sundae Green, Mango Mate Puerh Punch, Dragon Fruit Devotion, Peach Tranquility, Perfect Peach, Victorian Earl Grey, Blackberry Sage, Tower of London, Earl Grey Supreme.
Right now it’s summer. While I like summer (Except when it’s to hot to even think let alone anything else!) I am not crazy about my being able to drink hot tea as much. Been trying to remember to drink iced tea more, but kind of a pain in the ass, because generally I like it really chilled before drinking it. However, considering I’ve got an insane amount of tea to drink down this summer (Self imposed hiatus. discounting refills, tea swaps and give aways.) I plan on making both making some in the new steeper pitcher I bought from Teavana’s as well as making a regular cup and then either popping an ice cup in the cup, or pouring the tea from the cup into a glass full of ice cubes.
If you’ve looked at my early tea reviews you will have noticed that I stopped rating the teas. I am not opposed (generally.) of ratings it is just I’ve disliked doing them for the teas that I have tried out. Been thinking of developing my own rating system, like a 1-5 or 1-10. Something simple.
Also on Twitter, Tumblr, (Prefer Tumblr, actually.) Also Facebook, but that one is more for family and close friends. Hootsuite (Not sure if I quite like it, it isn’t what I thought it would be. I like the name though!)
Changed my nickname to Lynxiebrat because I thought it suited better.
