195F, 2-3 min (somewhere thereabouts). Very light and soft. Made a nice sized pot for two. :)

This is one of my favorites when it comes to oolong. The grapefruit flavor helps to tone down the brisk smoky oolong flavor, which can be overpowering on its own. Grapefruit oolong is a great introductory oolong.

As a standard peppermint tea its ok – nothing special, run of the mill, not bad. As with most things it improves with a bit of honey and some good conversation.

I always loved being able to buy a million different unsweetened ice teas in Japan. They’re everywhere… It’s nice to see Ito En marketing them to the US audience. Now if only we could find them in S. Korea….

I start every morning with a cup of sencha. I’m so glad we brought a couple hundred grams of this back from Japan with us. I’ll be sad when we finish it off next month.

I didn’t realize that 1st Flush is typically an afternoon tea. I was drinking it in the morning. Der.

Thanks to Jack’s mom. It’s my first flowering tea and it was interesting to watch the flower blossom. Its maybe not the most appetizing thing to see in the bottom of your glass, but it has it own organic charm to it. It has a sweet fruity aroma with a very subtle flavor. I enjoyed most of the glass until the bud became really exposed at which point the tea became much more bitter (maybe it was over-steepeed?). Anyways, nice and smooth, a good calming choice.

Not hot on the smell of this one…smells like socks. LOL But..if you are looking for a pick-me-up try it…you might like it. I don’t drink this very often because there is something that just tastes a little strange to me…it could very well be the Stevia. A strange first taste but one be able to get used to it. As for me…I think I will put this one back on my self for when I get desperate again.

You can certainly smell the spices galore on this one! WOWZA! I’ve put this one on the back burner so to speak because I didn’t like it at first. Thought I would give it a 2nd chance. Still don’t like it. It’s smells like it should be all spice but then you taste it and it’s very sweet. Not one of my favorites. Maybe it’s better as an iced tea.

Before steeping you can REALLY smell the Papaya, Mango, and Peaches! Delightful smell! After steeping you can only really smell the peaches…still a pleasant scent. It seems to be fairly thirst quenching. A nice soft tea. I’m thinking a rice dish would go good with this…maybe I will even try cooking with it!

I love the way this tea smells and people comment whenever they pass my desk that “something smells good!” All the flavors blend together really well.
