This is quite a good hibiscus tea. It tastes fruity and not as tart as most of them are. It’s naturally a bit on the sweeter end. The most prominent taste is definitely hibiscus, but it is tempered by some jammy berry notes, and an underlying herbaceous taste. I notice that this blend doesn’t contain rosehips, which is unusual for a hibiscus tea. The flavor is a bit different because of that. I can’t taste the licorice at all, which is great news since I really don’t like it, especially in fruit teas. I think the only reason I might hesitate to buy this, is because I mostly try to avoid caffeine and I like plenty of hibiscus blends that don’t contain green tea. It’s a nice variation on the theme, though.

I had a cup of this the other day at my sister-in-law’s house. It’s been several years since the last time I’ve had this tea. It’s just as good as I remember it being. The peppermint and spearmint flavors blend well, and are a nice change of pace from straight peppermint.

This is a light oolong, so it basically tastes like green tea, which I’ve mentioned is not really my thing. I also think I’ve had a light oolong that I liked better. I didn’t really taste any pomegranate, but it smelled rather floral. Nothing especially remarkable here for me.

I am SOOOO excited to see that you are trying everything from the box!! At least, I think that’s your mission, since you now only have about 4 teas left to try! Yay! :)
I wanted to try as many as possible. I’m actually going to end up missing a couple, as I try not to have too much caffeine in one day, but I did try almost everything so I’m pleased. I got the box prepped to mail out today, though I don’t think I’m actually going to get to the post office till Monday.

This is a really tasty blend. It’s quite smooth and fruity and naturally a bit sweet. It tastes like plums, and vanilla, and something else I can’t quite identify, maybe stewed prunes. It’s yummy and seems to suit the time of year.

I’m pretty sure I’ve never had a Darjeeling before, so yay for new experiences. This doesn’t really impress me, though. It’s not bitter at all, but it tastes rather rather like a vegetal. I’m not really a green tea person, when I drink it I almost always add lemon and maybe some sugar. This is not really my thing.

This was really good. I don’t know what Guava is supposed to taste like, so I can’t really make any judgement there, but this tastes very fruity and natural. The flavor definitely reminds me of tropical fruits and is somewhat similar to mango. It almost reminds me of grapefruit without the citrus sourness. It tastes like it would be delicious iced, as well. I kind of want to brew some of this with some of the Honeydew White I grabbed and see how they work together.

This smells and tastes very floral, not fruity at all. I’m puzzled about why someone would associate it with figs. I actually associate these scents with soap. It doesn’t taste soapy or anything, but my mind doesn’t really associate the flavor with food, which is kind of throwing me off. The mouthfeel is interesting, it makes my tongue a bit tingly, like mint or celery, or black pepper. I wonder where that comes from? Overall, an interesting tea, but probably not one I’ll keep.

I’ll admit I was somewhat skeptical of this one. I didn’t think a tea could replicate the flavor of a strawberry milkshake, and if it did, I didn’t think that flavor would blend well with Honeybush. I was wrong. Upon tasting this tea, my first though was “strawberry ice cream.” That is exactly what it tastes like. The Honeybush is there in the background, but it is mild and complements the flavor surprisingly well. This is definitely a keeper.
