From Indigo Tea Company

Sweet, fruity, refreshing pomegranate flavored green tea. Very nice as an iced tea, which needs no sweetener. Clean tasting.

I love this stuff! It’s the only tea I’ve ever given a 100 to, and let me explain why.

This is a light green tea with just a tiny hint of fruit. I do not to have to be in any specific mood to want this tea, like I do with a lot of my others. This is just a great staple, any time tea. It’s pretty cheap too which is a bonus!

From the Cooking TTB.

I often find fruit flavoured greens to be kind of generically fruity tasting, particularly, it seems, those with a sencha base.

This is a bit more distinctive. The rose petals give it a floral note, which reminds me of Kyoto Cherry Rose senchas, and the fruity note is a touch tart and tangy, making it feel a bit less generic.

I’m not sure I need this one in my cupboard, but I’m really enjoying this cup.

I totally know what you mean about fruit-flavoured senchas tasting the same.

Anlina

I have so many odds and ends of flavoured senchas that I bought a while ago and just haven’t bothered finishing, because they’re all too similar.

But when a flavoured sencha tastes unique I’m so into it!

Fjellrev

Me too! They’re definitely hard to come by.

Sencha base? I’m fairly certain but kinda hard to tell with the rose petals in there. It’s a good cup but not quite as good as I was hoping. I’m kind of disappointed that there are no actual pomegranate pieces in here. Pomegranate is kind of pricey though I guess… I honestly think this should have been called rose petal green tea not pomegranate tea.
