I’ve had two pots of this today. A nice break from flavored teas. It has a warm, almost nutty flavor to it. There are light floral undertones. It’s sweet and slightly rich.
450 Tasting Notes
My boyfriend’s car broke down so now we only have one car between the two of us…. Which means driving him to work… Very early this morning. I didn’t have enough time to steep any tea so I went with some matcha :) it was lacking because I didn’t put enough in my travel mug but it was still comforting and creamy. And warm… Since it’s rainy and cold outside.
So I’ve had a very long work week and decided to take this in my mug today. This is probably one of my new favorites. It’s soooooooo good. It’s creamy, chocolatey, and the strawberries is delicious. It’s more of the strawberries syrup more than actual strawberries but it’s still amazing. Mmmmmmm
400th tasting note :D
Finally getting to my Teavivre order.. the flavor is nice. It’s crisp, floral, and I can even catch some fruity notes in there. It’s very light but it makes a nice green.
So the first time I tried this it just tasted like blueberry black tea and wasn’t very impressed. I saw the post about leaving it out so I did.. and I hope it worked :\ FINGERS CROSSED
The aroma is definitely more blueberry-ish. I may have over steeped this a little but there is A LOT more flavors going on here. I’m getting some nice blueberry notes and in the aftertaste there is a little bit of a glazed doughnut. Like I just swallowed a bite of doughnut. I’m not really getting any of the cream cheese flavors but that’s ok. I like it a little bit more than the last time I had it :]
Took the rest of this to work today in my mug. I enjoyed it very much in my busy morning. I think I even got someone else addicted to tea. Yay!
The flavors seemed to be a little more chocolatey than I remember… Which is definitely ok with me :]
This tea went with yoga today! I still love the sparkles and the juicy pear flavors. Perfect start to my morning.
So I thought this would go PERFECTLY after dinner. The warm pumpkin spice flavors fit in with my salad and stuffed mushrooms. I used 3 tea bags instead of 2 for a pot. The pumpkin comes out a little bit more and it tastes like pumpkin pie. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm perfect :]
Thanks Lariel! I was letting this cool while I was doing yoga and the aroma made my mouth water! It’s very sweet smelling. The flavor is sweet. The black tea base is very bold and very present. The caramel and praline flavors are more in the background and aftertaste. There is a bit of a dark chocolate\coco flavor that is almost as strong as the black tea base. I’m glad I got the chance to try it! Thanks again!
The first time I had this it was in my travel mug and tonight I’m having it with a splash of vanilla almond milk. I’m not getting much of the red velvet cake flavor but more of a chocolate roasted mate. The vanilla helps to make it a bit more cakey but still… all I taste is chocolate and vanilla :[ maybe I’ll have to play with it a little.
I haven’t had a nice bowl of matcha in some time so I decided to have some. I still love the velvety texture and the naturally sweet flavor.
Thank you Lariel! The aroma of this tea is very sweet. The flavor is mostly the black tea base. The aftertaste is light and sweet. There is a soft fruity note to it. I enjoyed this one! Thanks again!
Aaaahhh it’s so nice to have a good cup of tea and read reviews again. I’ve been on the road and the only tea I have had was out of my libre mug with hot gas station water…
I’m pretty sure this is the tea Lariel sent. It’s the only one that has strawberry and puerh from Teavana. But it’s pretty good! I’ve always thought puerh and strawberry would go nicely together. The strawberry is tart but still sweet in the aftertaste. The puerh earthiness is there and blends well. I reaallyy enjoyed this. Thanks again!
Had a cup of this to relax with! I still enjoy the flavor.
Thank you Ellyn!
I didn’t really know if this tea would turn out for me. But it did :] And it made a wonderful first cup after yoga. The flavors are nice. I’m getting sweet, malty and almost a dark chocolatey\toffee kind of flavor. It has a bit of astringency to it but it’s still good. I enjoyed it. Thanks again!
Sipdown tea #6!
Finished my packet of this. I forgot how good it was. I just might have to order some more.
Sipdown tea #5!
Well I thought I’d get through more teas today but I just didn’t. Over steeped a bit but still enjoyable. Catching hints of brown sugar. It’s quite lovely :]
Sipdown tea #4!
Had it iced :] It was super delicious. Sad this one is gone though!
Sipdown tea #3!
Finished my sample of this. I really liked the flavors in this one.
Sipdown tea #2!
I can’t remember who sent this to me but thank you!!
The aroma is lovely. It’s creamy and has nice flavor to it. I think I like earl grey with vanilla and cream flavors rather than earl grey alone. It adds an extra little something. Thanks again!
Sipdown tea #1!
Finished this lovely sample off. I LOVE the aroma of this one. It made me hungry :]
I’ve had this a few times in my travel mug but I don’t think I’ve ever done a note for it. The smell is very lemony. It’s very natural lemony smelling though. Tart and sour. The flavor is nice. Natural lemon with a bit of sweetness. I like it. It’s soothing and would make a really nice iced tea.
I always forget about my teas from 52 teas. I push them to the back so I won’t drink them as fast. I’m starting to build up quite the collection.
Second tea of the night. I’m sad this is gone. I’m gonna need to order more..
Well my day has just kind of gone waayyy downhill since this afternoon. Having a lovely pot of this and watching some new shows. I like the flavors. It’s a simple tea but it’s creamy and has a nice, light mint flavor to it. Glad I got to enjoy this tonight.
