Had this last night, but didn’t know what to say about it at the time, haha.
Rooibos is a great base for a coconut cream pie inspired tea. I think it can lend itself well to a baked crust flavor, as it does here after it cools just a bit.
I think I may have to try it with sugar even though it’s already naturally very sweet. The coconut just didn’t pop for me as a flavor. However, it lends itself to such a creamy tea, which works so well with the rooibos base. And it was so good just like that, I wanted to continue drinking it straight. Next cup though, let’s see how it turns out sweetened just a bit!
