This is a very mild tea with little bitterness or astringency. It brews to a light yellow almost clear color. There is no malt to this tea. It truth it is so mild tasting that there is not that much flavor. What is there is a sweet note. I eyeballed the amount of tea using 5 tsp. Maybe it needed 10 tsp of leaf. It’s a nice enough tea, just not enough flavor.

I brewed this tea one time in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 5 tsp leaf and 185 degree water for 3 min.

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
