600 Tasting Notes
This has been languishing in my cupboard for ages. A friend sent it to me last year in a care package, mostly, I suspect, for the tin, which has a cute little image of London on it. This sort of tea is not what I usually reach for.
Still, it seems like an excelent day to drink the teas I do not really care about, and so I brewed some up.
Well, its black tea. Its not bitter, which can be a worry, but its not very impressive. I almost never add milk or sugar to my teas, but I might give this one a try with additives in the near future.
Backlogg from yesterday. Still feeling poorly, I reached for my very favorite chamomile, which I am hording and parcing out bit by bit. It went perfectly with my evening read of a silly murder mystery, and then I went to bed.
This is such a nice tea. Complex and light and everything an herbal should be.
Its going to be 100 degrees today. Buy my sinuses are still unhappy, and so an unseasonable tea is called for!
Why precicely I thought cinnamon would be good for gunky sinuses, I do not know, but I do like this. Its warm and fun. Not precicely the mood people usually goes for during 100 degree weather, but hey.
Give me tea or give me heatstroke!
I woke up this morning to find that my sinuses had been draining down my throat all night, leaving me with a sore throat. Not good, as I need to teach a class this morning. Time to get a trusty pot of tea!
Loke Lani was a gift, and I love it. This tea is light and fruity and sparkles across the palate. And its doing wonders this morning.
Up and at em!
