6601 Tasting Notes
I had this one as a free sample when i popped in to David’s tea to try and find some sale stuff a friend is looking for. White teas generally aren’t my favourite but this one was fairly nice as a gold brew. It’s not lupicia’s golden honey dew, but this makes a decent replacement for it if you don’t have easy access to lupicia. :) Over all a nice blend and pretty close on the flavouring :)
started the day out earlier this morning with this one. As i added two teas to my cupboard yesterday, i’m trying to find a way to get those spaces back pronto! ihad just enough of this one left to enjoy it this morning and save a cup’s worth for terri :) yay for tea sharing. I quite enjoyed having this one in my cupboard but i’m glad i still have the other JW teas to drink now that this one is all gone. :(
this was the other tea that i picked up yesterday – i really shouldn’t be buying tea but there’s a gap in my cupboard so i allowed myself this treat – especially since i was hoping it would be at least sort of like the version from tea gswendner that i adore. I don’t think i’ll be in chicago again soon, so i need an alternative that doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Verdict on this one? It’s “close enough” but if i had both in front of me, i’d go with the one from TeaG. That being said, this is still lovely and i’ll enjoy it a bunch!
