Whoa, I went very heavy on the tea and man is this strong. I was feeling very sleepy and now quite awake. While I can still taste the burned chocolate, nutty, mahogany, baked bread notes, the bergamot notes are now the strongest. I have really been loving the high quality CTCs from Kenya lately. I feel like CTCs have such a negative association but they can be really tasty.

Did you know it was world goth day? Me either. In honor of world goth day I’m now listening to Fad Gadget. While not the most gothy, I have certainly heard a lot of Fad Gadget songs at many goth clubs. Here is Life on the Line: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TA_8nNNZqD4 If you want to see why you should never have stood in the first few rows at a Fad Gadget concert, check out Lady Shave live. hahaha. Despite being really into goth fashion and music, I don’t have many pictures from those days. I do have one from when I was phasing out of goth, so here is right after I started bleaching out the black hair dye, so it is sorta gothy (1999-ish?). http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i446/butikiteas/FridayDecember302005resizedCopy1_zpse89ac58f.jpg. Anyone else into goth music or fashion? I’m still really big into 1970s, 1980s and 1990s goth & industrial music.

Not much into goth but love Type O Negative! Summer Breeze and Cinnamon Girl are some of my favorites

Krystal-Do love me some Type O! Black No 1 made it to many cd mixes. Interesting that both of the songs you mentioned were covers. Type O does covers well.

Oh gosh. I’m a HUGE industrial fan. Rammstein, Type O Negative, NIN, TOOL… As for the hair color? I was goth at one point, and considered dying my hair black recently again. I do still have quite a bit of goth-inspired clothing for some special events I attend on occasion.

MissB-Awesome! I’ve noticed a few different people around here into goth and industrial music. I’m considering dying my hair black again as well. I only use temporary colors at this point after the huge disaster of me trying to get black out of my hair, which is very long and light-ish. I just get too bored so quickly and feel the need to move on to a new color.

Speaking of industrial, I’m still working on a tea inspired by my favorite band, Skinny Puppy.

Nicole

This tea is just the absolute best to travel with. It steeps up so tasty even with really sloppy and variable conditions. I keep a bag of it in my purse whenever we go out for breakfast. Or dinner. Always need this in the cupboard! :)

Bio

My taste for tea started at an early age. As a child, I would frequently enjoy a cup of tea with my family. Tea has always been a significant part of my life, through all the challenges and all the accomplishments and celebrations. Naturally, I became interested in the variety of high quality teas and the very culture that encompasses tea. Today, I want to share my passion and love of tea through Butiki Teas.
