drank Pineapple Oolong by Lupicia
2291 tasting notes

I said I was going to use boiling water but I seriously chickened out. So. 199F for 2 minutes. Here’s hoping! Sample from Dinosara! :)

Dry, it smells strongly of coconuts with a hint of pineapple. Steeped, it smells very floral and coconutty, with pineapple in the background. Sipped, it’s like Sil reviewed ages and ages ago. A citrus-y pineapple. Coconut. Somewhat buttery, floral oolong. I think it’s better steeped at the higher temperature, really. It would take sugar really well, but I’m liking it plain.

So. For a pineapple oolong, I do prefer Butiki and DavidsTea. For a pineapple-coconut oolong, this is really nice!

(I also want to add “green” as a flavour, but I realize that is a colour. Still. It tastes green. Like fresh growth in the spring smells.)

Flavors: Butter, Coconut, Flowers, Pineapple
