2958 Tasting Notes
I finished this sample off today, which came from a sample exchange with VariaTea. I’m not sure why I didn’t have it recorded on my spreadsheet, but it is nice to clear out my drawer a bit.
This time I made it hot (1 tsp leaf, 500 mL hot water) but had no teabag or strainer and had to drink it while trying not to swallow rooibos needles. Still, it was really good flavour-wise.
The freeze-dried raspberries make it so deliciously fruity without the fake taste you get from certain flavourings. There is a strong rooibos taste here (which I like), so this blend is best suited yo fans of rooibos.
Flavors: Berry, Fruity, Mineral, Raspberry, Rooibos
Preparation
Thank you for sending me this free sample, I had a few delicious lattes with it. I finished it this morning and enjoyed my morning brew very much. Some nice orange zest, sweet rooibos, and dark chocolate (cocoa bean)
Flavors: Cocoa, Dark Chocolate, Orange, Orange Zest, Rooibos
This is actually really good as a coldbrew. I got a teabag last time I was in the US through minimus.biz and just found it at the bottom of my stash today. Another sipdown for today, although I never actually put it on my spreadsheet so I’m not sure if it counts as a sipdown.
Lots of lemon, some tasty spices, some singer cookie, some molasses. Mostly the lemon part, but it is really tasty regardless.
Flavors: Citrus, Lemon, Lemon Zest, Molasses, Spices, Spicy
