6481 Tasting Notes
no reason to save this, as it may never be available again, so I’m continuing to work on drinking it up. Not as tasty as the first few times i picked this up, but still ok nontheless. Looking forward to seeing what new blends verdant will have in future.
as long as they don’t involve intelligent nutrients. ugh.
my notes on this one seem to have poofed, though i know i’ve had it before. long and the short of this is that it’s a really nice tea. It’s not a fruity sort of tea, nor an overly malty one. It sits somewhere in the middle with a roasty, caramel, burnt toast sort of feeling to it. A medium strength in brew…and something i ended up gulping through this morning in an effort to try and wake up! :)
yep. still enjoying this one. Made a few cups of this as a cold brew yesterday – it’s really freakin’ hot here in toronto… and drank them all while playing some games last night. I am a fan, though it’s not exactly a shirley temple…but it does make up for not having any of my snow cone left.

this was the only black tea i allowed myself to purchase this past week because it smelled super interesting (it also helped they were out of stock of a bunch of my favourites). They blend this one in house, so it’s not available through the online store. It’s like a chai sort of tea, but not. the caramel and ginger take it a litle step away from feeling totally like a chai tea. I want to try this as a latte though, as i think that’s where the blend will really pop. it wasn’t bad last night – i was getting caramel as well as that chai feeling, but i kept wondering how it would blend with the milk.
Another one from last night – another delicious fruit tea from tea G. this one was sour and sweet but had almost a caramel note to it, though there isn’t caramel in it. another blend with hibby, but also blackberries and red currants, making it a little different from the usual. Will need to try this one cold brewed as well :)
