Tea of the afternoon, I was looking for another rooibos option and figured I would try this. Of course it would be nice to have a tea that tasted liked cookies but I’m not sure this really fits the bill.
I wonder if I added too much leaf to this but for now, this seems VERY high on the cinnamon, has lots of sweetness and fruity from the apple. I liked this a bit better when soymilk was added but I can’t figure out why this is so sweet — is it the brittle? Kind of overwhelming in the flavor department and reminds me more of cinnamon gummy bears than a snickerdoodle. For now this gets a “meh”, I wish I liked David’s Tea more but so many blends seem to fall into the “meh” category… I will try this with black tea or maybe some plain rooibos to see if it can be toned down.
I tried it in store. Do not like it at all. Taste weird.
After I read the reviews it seemed like a lot of people agree.
For me it was like cinnamon water.
I wonder if I can return it?
